Construction Estimator /
Project Manager
Responsibilities
-
Create job estimates by reviewing Construction Documents
-
Develop project schedules and material takeoffs
-
Request Material Pricing
-
Order materials and equipment as required for any assigned construction project
-
Attend job related meetings as a representative of the project team
-
Create and/or edit memos, letters, emails and reports as required
-
Visit on-going projects to track job progress
-
Process day-to-day administrative documents (i.e., change orders, change order summary, request for information, invoices, billing, daily reports, etc.)

Order and review shop drawings
-
Gather and submit product data
Experience
-
4 Year College Degree or equivalent project management experience in a construction related field (i.e., Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, etc.)

Proficient in Microsoft office suite

Fluent in both Mac and PC platforms

Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Apple Numbers/MS Excel

Ability to read and understand contract plans and specifications

Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
-
Normally works in an office setting, but is required to walk the construction site on a regular basis.

Ability to physically negotiate the hazards of a new construction worksite (E.g.; uneven surfaces, floor openings, heights, going up the ladders, construction debris and poor lighting)
